School of Comparative Asian Law

Description of studies

The School of Comparative Asian Law addresses its offer to those students and graduates who are interested in Asian law in the comparative legal dimension. The program is addressed to lawyers, as well as students or graduates of international relations, political science, or economics.

The primary goal of the School is to provide students with knowledge of the legal systems of Asian countries and Asian legal culture.

The School of Comparative Asian Law is organized by the Faculty of Law and Administration of Lazarski University.
The classes will be held on weekends (Friday, Saturday). There will be 10 sessions.

Associate graduates will receive a certificate of completion of the Lazarski University School of Comparative Asian Law.

Program

Lectures will be conducted in English and cover issues concerning the general characteristics of the major Asian legal systems. In addition to the lecture, the school's program also includes a basic Chinese language course.

Lecture: Comparative Studies of Asian Laws - 45 hours
attendance on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Language Course: Chinese Language - 40 hours

attendance on Fridays 5 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Fees

Cost of the entire program:

  • for students who are students/graduates of Lazarski University - PLN 1,000
  • for non-Lazarski University students - PLN 1,500

Recruitment

For admission, students must:

Language skills

Candidates are required to have English language skills at B2 level. Candidates may present an international certificate or other official document confirming language proficiency at this level (e.g., a certificate from a language school or the Foreign Language Studio of Lazarski University).

Enrollment in the School of Comparative Asian Law runs until September 15, 2022.
