Poland Day is over!

This year’s formula for the event was different: the students organised this day on their own. The topic featured Polish mountains, people living there, their traditions, customs and cuisine.

The students of one-year and one-semester courses prepared presentations and learned to sing in Polish. With the help of their teachers, they found interesting information and spoke about it. All the talks were in Polish. The students<link https://www.lazarski.pl/></link> spoke about the monuments of Zakopane, tourist attractions, successes of Polish mountaineers and sportsmen, regional costumes (which you could try on), music and cuisine of the region. The students’ inventiveness was extraordinary and the Polish language sounded absolutely perfect when used by a rapper from Zimbabwe or a student from Congo singing “Góralu, czy ci nie żal”. Obviously, we could not do without a treat. Every participant could try real oscypek. Moreover, the students brought their national delicacies. It was a real feast for both your body and your soul.
