Spain Day

Beautiful beaches, the cathedral in Barcelona, Sagrada Familia, flamenco dancing, bullfighting, tapas, and the adventures of Don Quixote are symbols that most often define Spain. What comes to your mind first when you think of Spain? On April 9th, we will check if it is the same as our students, who will introduce us to this diverse country.

We have an extremely interesting program for you. First, we will test what you already know about Spain with a quiz. 😊 Then, our student will share her own experiences from her internship in Seville and Andalusia. We will briefly visit the Basque Country and consider where its unique language comes from. We will also listen to Spanish hits – both from a playlist and live. Since Spain is a wonderful place for a vacation, we will tell you which places you must visit. We also know that nothing brings a country's culture closer than its cuisine, so we will briefly tell you about it and then try some of its specialties. And for those who miss their childhood, we have a surprise – we will be breaking a piñata. We will make sure it is well-filled with candies, and you have fun, integrate, and let yourself be carried away by emotions. A piñata means laughter and joy, regardless of age.

We invite you on April 9th at 10:20 AM to room 130. The meeting will be held in Polish.
