Healthy Spine / Tabata

Healthy Spine

Healthy Spine classes are designed to strengthen all muscle parts and increase the elasticity of the spine. They help alleviate the effects of bad habits, eliminate pain and also have a preventive effect. Healthy Spine classes include relaxation, stabilization, strengthening and balance exercises. Elements of stretching are also woven in, as well as learning proper breathing.

Tabata

Tabata classes include interval training, with high intensity involving most muscle parts. Tabata helps speed up metabolism and improve endurance. The workout involves exercises with the body's own weight, and for variety with various equipment (e.g. dumbbells, steppers, rubber bands). Tabata is based on elements of functional training.

Hatha Yoga

Yoga classes combine work on endurance and flexibility of the body with the study and practice of relaxation and opening. The different groups of positions (called asanas) have an impact on selected parts of the muscles, spine, joints, on physiological processes occurring in our body (e.g.: digestion) and also on our mental state. Yoga is often treated as a health therapy (specific asanas are recommended for diseases) but also as a great way to maintain a healthy body and mind and prevent disease. There are different varieties of "yoga". Our classes offer hatha yoga conducted using the method of B.K.S. Iyengar. Its peculiarity lies in the use of so-called aids (equipment), which enable the average person to correctly perform asanas for the benefit of his health. In addition, yoga according to this method pays great attention to the technique of performing asanas. It combines beauty and precision. An important element of the practice is the attitude of the yoga student: concentration on the "here and now" and firmness and perseverance in the exercises combined with respect for one's body. The practitioner's physical fitness as well as mental capacity improves with regular practice. Subsequent stages of yoga practice include breathing exercises (prana yama) and meditation.

Fitness

Fitness is the search for mental well-being and the pursuit of maximum physical fitness through a range of interesting and varied exercises. With a variety of movement forms, there is something for everyone participating in these classes. From dance and gymnastics classes, to general development, to strengthening and endurance classes, the exercising body will become fitter and firmer. With exercise, the body will produce more endorphins, which provide us with a sense of well-being. Movement will eventually become an important part in life, and the exerciser will feel fit and healthy and feel happy.
