METING WITH DR MARCIN WALECKI
On May 8, 2013, the Scientific Center of the ISP of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Lazarski University organized a meeting with Dr. Marcin Walecki, head of the Democratic Governance Team at OSCE/ODIHR. The main topic of the meeting was the activities of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) at the OSCE.
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the specifics of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) at the OSCE, its tasks and competencies.

On March 13, 2013, the Scientific Center of the ISP of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Lazarski University organized a lecture by Maria Pamula, a refugee protection specialist from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The lecture was titled: Refugee protection and the work of the UNHR office in Poland.
The purpose of the lecture was to familiarize students with the rather unpopular subject of the work of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Poland, as well as to show the specifics of the work of the UNGCR office in Poland.
LECTURE THE UNION FOR MEDITERRANEAN: THE VEHICLE FOR ECONOMIC INTEGRATION & DEVELOPMENT?
On March 7, 2013, the Middle East Institute of Lazarski University together with the Scientific Center of the ISP of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Lazarski University organized a lecture by the Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean Mr. Fathallah Sijilmassi. The lecture was titled : The Union for Mediterranean: the vehicle for economic integration & development?
The purpose of the lecture was to familiarize students with the specifics of the Organization's functioning, as well as to promote the objectives of its activities among the academic community.
