Tomasz Braun, PhD, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Lazarski University has received funding under the prestigious Horizon Europe 2024 grant for the project "EARTHONE: Environmental Analysis and Resilience for Transformative Human-Optimized Natural Environments!".
The project will be conducted in partnership with 17 scientific institutions from Europe (including the universities of Padua, Bremen, Madrid, Twente and Thessaloniki). The consortium will explore new applications of artificial intelligence in environmental solutions and Tomasz Braun will be responsible for studying the relationship of these applications to regulations and ethics.
This is Tomasz Braun's second project on artificial intelligence under Horizon Europe.The current project "REALM - Real-world-data Enabled Assessment for heaLth regulatory decision-Making" is being carried out by 14 entities and aims to create a framework for collaboration and use of artificial intelligence in medical devices for regulators, application developers, healthcare professionals and policy makers.
