Study of Foreign Languages at the gala of the winners of the European Language Label 2016!

On September 19, 2016, the Ministry of Education hosted a ceremony to award certificates for the European Language Label 2016 - the European innovation label for language teaching and learning.

For the second time, the Foreign Language Studio has been a winner of this prestigious competition organized by the European Commission, ministries of education and national agencies of the Erasmus+ program.

In this year's edition of the competition in the priority "Language-friendly society", the project "Understanding another culture - National Days at Lazarski" was awarded.

The project "Understanding Another Culture - National Days at Lazarski" is a cyclical meeting with the language and culture of various countries from which Lazarski University students come, organized since 2005 by the Foreign Language Department and the Center for Teaching Polish Language and Culture". The meetings are organized by foreign students, their friends, families, acquaintances with the support of Polish students, embassies, cultural institutes, travel bloggers. Components of the National Days include presentations of countries, their cultures, traditions and customs, demonstrations of national dances, musical presentations, handicraft workshops, language lessons, knowledge competitions, exhibitions, fairs, national games, preparation of national dishes, feasting and conversations together. In addition to promoting multilingualism and multiculturalism, the events serve to integrate the student and academic community. Closer to languages, closer to each other!
