Income Thresholds

The income threshold allowing for applying for a social scholarship in the academic year 2025/2026 is set at PLN 1908.90 per month.

A student whose monthly income per person in the family does not exceed PLN 823.00 is required to submit an official certificate from the social welfare center (or social services center) confirming that they or their family members received social assistance in 2025. If neither the student nor their family members receive such assistance, the social scholarship may still be granted if the student documents the source of the family’s income.

A student who does not live in a shared household with any parent or legal/actual guardian may apply for a social scholarship without declaring the income of those persons if their income does not exceed PLN 1,908.90 net per person per month and if they meet one of the following conditions:

  • is over 26 years of age,
  • is married,
  • has dependent children,
  • became an adult while in foster care,
  • has a stable source of income and their average monthly income in 2024 and in the months preceding the month of submitting the declaration is equal to or higher than PLN 1,696.80.

Information for Foreign Students

Holding a visa does not entitle you to apply for a social scholarship – it is necessary, for example, to have a temporary residence permit for the purpose of studying, issued by the Mazovian Voivode.

When submitting an application for a social scholarship, a foreign student should have one of the documents listed in §4 of the Regulations.

Instructions for submitting an application via the e-Dean's Office system

Download the guide to the application submission process via the e-Dean's Office system

  1. Please log in to your student account in the e-dziekanat.lazarski.pl system and select the appropriate type of benefit
(type of scholarship: Social, Rector’s, Disability, Emergency Aid).
  2. After selecting the type of benefit, the system will display a list of documents available for download (regulations, declaration templates, etc.)
  3. Please fill in the information about your studies (place and period of study).
  4. Next, depending on the type of benefit, complete the following:
    • Social scholarship:
      • Provide information on your income and the income of your family members,
      • Attach the required source documents as per the regulations (scans, electronic documents).
The system will calculate the income per family member.
    • Rector’s scholarship:
      • Provide information about your activities,
      • Attach source documents (scans, electronic documents).
In the Rector’s scholarship application, you must calculate the arithmetic average of the grades obtained in the previous academic year and enter it manually. It is not necessary to submit a certificate of the average. The arithmetic average is calculated by dividing the sum of all grades by their number.
    • Scholarship for students with disabilities:
      • Provide information about disabilities,
      • Attach scans of certificates (scans, electronic documents).
    • Emergency aid:
      • Provide information about the circumstances,
      • Attach scans of the necessary documents (scans, electronic documents).

After completing and submitting the form, it will be sent to the Rector’s Representative for Student Benefits for verification.

The form will be verified for consistency between the entered data and the attached documents.

In case of deficiencies or inconsistencies, the staff may:

  • Return the form in its entirety for correction
  • Request the missing documents (electronically)
  • Correct obvious typographical errors themselves

A verified application will be marked as Ready for printing in the e-Dean's Office system.

The verified application and the declarations attached to it must be printed and signed in all required places. Declarations from family members must be signed by the persons concerned and attached to the application.

The application, together with attachments (documents confirming the validity of the application) and declarations, must be submitted to the Student Benefits Office. This can be done in person, through an authorized representative, by regular mail, or by courier.

Each application must include a completed Annex No. 12 to the Benefits Regulations.

Outside office hours, documents can be left in the drop box next to room 263 in the University building (sector F).

Failure to submit a complete set of documents by October 20 will result in the application submitted through the e-Dean’s Office system not being processed.

Based on the submitted application, the Rector’s Representative for Student Benefits decides whether to grant or deny the scholarship and determines the category of the awarded scholarship.

The decision, once issued, will be available in the e-dziekanat.lazarski.pl system

A student has the right to appeal the decision by submitting, through the same platform, an application – an appeal against the scholarship decision – which, once marked as “Ready for printing” in the e-Dean’s Office system, must be printed, signed, and submitted to the Student Benefits Office within the specified deadlines in person, by proxy, by regular mail, or by courier.

For each type of scholarship, except the Rector’s scholarship, the next application can be submitted only after the procedure concerning the previous application of that type has been completed.
