Programme description

The European Studies specialisation prepares you to navigate the complexities of European and global affairs, equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed for a career in diplomacy, international organisations, or government. The programme focuses on:

  • understanding international relations: you will gain a deep understanding of global challenges and the dynamics of European and international relations,
  • mastering diplomacy and negotiations: you will develop essential negotiation and communication skills needed for diplomatic and international careers,
  • exploring the EU's global role: you will learn about the European Union’s role in international organisations, global trade, and its foreign policy,
  • foreign policy and security: you will get insight into the EU's foreign policy and its strategic importance in global security,

    you will study the political dynamics of both Central and Eastern Europe and Western Europe, exploring the historical, social, and institutional factors that shape their current policies and interactions,

    you will learn about the mechanisms that drive European integration, focusing on how the European Union functions and its role in tackling global challenges, including governance structures, policymaking processes, and international cooperation,

  • develop critical insights into international law and economics, 

    you acquire the analytical tools needed to evaluate the legal and economic structures that influence Europe and the wider world, focusing on international relations, trade, and legal frameworks,

    Admission fee is PLN 85* (bank account details will be available in the Candidate’s Account after online registration)
    *Lazarski University graduates are exempt from the admission fee. Please, note that admission fee is non-refundable.

  4. Wait for the enrolment decision
    You will receive your acceptance letter by email or in the Admissions Office.
