Piotr Czech

Doctor in political science and a graduate of the Faculty of Transportation at Warsaw University of Technology with a specialisation in air transport traffic control. He also graduated from Lazarski University with a postgraduate MBA in Management in 2024.
Expert and consultant in the field of airport management, civil aviation safety and regulations on operation, certification of airports and air navigation. He has been involved in aviation since 2008, when he started working for the State Enterprise "Airports". As part of his career at Chopin Airport, he was responsible for, among other things: supervision of operational documentation, airport certificate and coordination of the certificate conversion process in accordance with EU requirements. After successfully passing the certificate conversion process, he was appointed Safety Manager.

From 2008 to 2011 at PL.2012, he coordinated the preparation of Polish airports for the UEFA EURO 2012™ tournament. In parallel, he was the project manager of the preparation and handling of the aforementioned tournament by Warsaw Chopin Airport. From 2019 to 2021 he was an employee of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency. In the position of Deputy Director of the Safety Office for the Safety Management System, he was responsible for maintaining and developing an effective and efficient Safety Management System. From 2021 to 2024, he worked as Director of Chopin Airport in Warsaw and served as Responsible Manager.

Author of many articles on civil aviation and European Union policy on air transport safety. Participant of many specialized trainings, national workshops and international conferences in the field of aviation safety, implementation of European laws and requirements on the subject of airport operations,
personal, project and process management. Member of international working groups.
