We are living in troubled times; the security of our country is at stake. Thomas Jefferson, one of the authors of the United States Declaration of Independence, the third president of the United States (1801–1809), said that "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance." Should we be inspired by these words? Is it time to restore compulsory military service for all citizens, men and women?
We will debate this on June 8, 8:30 am, room 38. Get to know the opinion of your colleagues and express your own opinion by voting FOR or AGAINST implementing this policy. Who will you support in the debate? Will politicians and military officials listen to our ideas and act according to our expectations? Come to the debate and make sure that your voice will matter in the making of national policy!
