Lazarski University has signed an official academic cooperation agreement with the renowned University of Westminster in London. Thanks to this agreement, from the 2025/2026 academic year, students of selected English-language programmes will be able to obtain a British degree while remaining in Warsaw for the entire duration of their studies.
The agreement covers the so-called validated degree model, which assumes that the programmes implemented by Lazarski University will be approved by the British university and will be subject to its academic supervision. Graduates will receive a University of Westminster degree, confirming that they meet the educational quality standards applicable in the United Kingdom.
The first grade level of students covered by this pathway will begin their studies in October 2025. After completing their first year, they will be able to continue their studies in the validated degree format. The programmes will be conducted in English, in accordance with British academic regulations and assessment procedures, and will be supervised by both Lazarski University and the University of Westminster.
The agreement has been signed for a period of five years, until August 2030, and covers all key aspects of cooperation, such as the organisation of the teaching process, quality assessment, recruitment processes, student rights and administrative issues.
The validation of programmes by the University of Westminster is an important step in the development of Lazarski University's educational offer, in line with its strategy of internationalisation and increasing the competitiveness of its graduates on the labour market.
