There was no need to convince us, the audience, as we were sure all their ideas were simply amazing! The contestants were: “Aquafly” clean water distribution by vending machines, “Roomstaurant” for both privacy while eating and having a good time, “Sit Your Pet” comprehensive pet service for busy people, “Green Hostel” for taking care of our plants when we are away from home, “Valhalla” a sort of old-school gaming cyber café with a modern twist, and “Quasars” outsourcing experts in game content creation (creating stories, quests, and DLC for the enhanced narrative immersion in video gaming).
The jury had a tough nut to crack when choosing the best of the best! After a long deliberation it was decided to give the best prizes to: ”Sit Your Pet” by Zofia Zubiel, and two runners up: “Aquafly” by Marina Zapahanskaya and ”Quasars” by the team of Dominika Baranowska, Iwona Łyś, Kacper Majewski and Oleksy Kryviak.
There was no doubt that all the projects would become real-life success stories: now it’s up to the contestants to make it happen. We keep our fingers crossed!
Final of the competition for the best presentation
On 2nd June we witnessed a very special show at Lazarski! It was the finale of students’ presentations in the English language. Seven of the finalists (let’s call them: the “Magnificent Seven”: ) argued their cases and tried to convince the jury that they were best presenters.
