According to the Statute of the University, we have a Library Council, which is the rector's consultative body and cooperates with the director of the Library in the management of the Library. The composition of the Council of the current term of office is as follows: <br /><br />Dr. Henryk Hollender (Director of the Library), Prof. Aleksandra Laskowska-Rutkowska-Rutkowska (Faculty of Economics and Management), Prof. Maria Nowacka-Zawisza (Faculty of Medicine), Dr. Małgorzata Sekuła-Leleno (Faculty of Law and Administration), Prof. Łukasz Szarpak (Med.), Prof. Igor Zachariasz (Law), Dr. Anita Zarzycka (Econ.). The participants unanimously elected Dr. A. Zarzycka as the President of the Council. Organisational support is provided by the Library. The meeting was held on January 10 of this year. The Council accepted the Library's report for 2012-2018 (as the Council had not met during these years – further reports will be submitted on an annual basis).&nbsp; In addition, the Council was briefed by Director H. Hollender on the ongoing work and problems of the Library and supported the solutions proposed by the Library. Minutes with the Council's recommendations was submitted to the Rector.
