On the 13th of April, Lazarski University hosted the 3rd annual edition of Warsaw Business Game! Every year, organizers are doing their best to evolve the game and take it up the notch with some innovative features.
This year, #WBG2018 was the first project ever that happened to be co-organized by multiple universities: SGH, UW, SWPS, SGGW, PW and UŁa. What is more, the grand prize awarded to the winning team was 3000 PLN.
Overall, Warsaw Business Game is the biggest annual inter-university competition aimed at testing the business skills of Warsaw’s smartest students. Predominantly, WBG is the platform that gives students a chance to showcase their outside-the-box thinking in front of their fellow colleagues and headhunters from different branches of finance and business. More importantly, WBG evaluates students’ ability to apply theoretical knowledge of economics, finance and management for solving practical issues.
This year, there were 5 teams of finalists representing KU, PW, UW, SGH and UŁa. Undoubtedly, the game was extremely amusing to watch, as contestant were competing very hard against each other. After seeing all the performances, the judges made their final decision regarding the best team. Eventually, the team from SGH represented by Irena Budz, Kateryna Chornovol-Tkachenko and Olga Yatsenko turned out to be victorious at #WBG2018!
