Opening remarks by Prof. Corrado Bonifazi entitled “International migration in Europe: context and trends”
Corrado Bonifazi is demographer and Director of the Institute of Research on Population and Social Policies of the Italian National Research Council. He chairs the research unit on “Populations and migrations” of the Institute and chaired the Working Group of the European Association for Population Studies (EAPS) on 'International migration in Europe'. He has been project leader in various research projects on international and internal migration. He has numerous publications in migration and demographic fields.
