To begin on Jan. 2, 2018, we are going to lend periodicals (with the exception of daily newspapers): magazines, scholarly journals etc. Current periodicals come in units called numbers or issues. Units of archival periodicals, held at the storage and eventually bound, are volumes (in most cases yearly). Each user can pick up no more than three units, and the number of periodicals checked out does not add to the number of books.

Current periodicals circulate for two hours, for the night or for a holiday (when the Library is closed). Stored periodicals -- for 30 days. There is a regular late return fee, like with books. Pick up your current periodicals from the shelf and set the return time with the librarian. Archival periodicals, listed in the catalogue, are to be fetched by the librarian. The library system does not support ordering of periodicals.
