The problems of integrating Ukrainians in Poland, studying and finding work were discussed by Kasia Kornet’s guests from across Poland’s eastern border. Iryna Polets, PhD talked about the life of the Ukrainians at Warsaw-based universities and about social initiatives taken.
<em>“We are pursuing a lot of various projects.</em><em> </em><em>For example, a volunteer affiliated with us is currently conducting a collection of different items, such as toys and sweets, that will be sent to Ukraine.</em><em> </em><em>We are also pursuing information activities, publishing current information for immigrants.</em><em> </em><em>There is also a club for Ukrainian women and the “Rękawiczka” club for children where Ukrainian kids can play with their Polish peers,” enumerated doctor Polets</em>

Iryna Polets, PhD – social anthropologist, Medieval Studies graduate at the Central European University in Budapest (2008), PhD at the Centre for Social Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Lecturer at the Łazarski University studies in English programme ending with a double diploma (of the Łazarski University and the Coventry University). She has been collaborating with the Łazarski University since 2014.
