Lazarski University Negotiation Club – one of the largest and most active clubs based at Lazarski University in Warsaw. We are a community of goal-oriented, bright, and determined students of our beloved university, who share a passion for negotiations. The Club is focused on developing negotiation skills, modelling real-life scenarios for hands-on practice, and providing young people with a platform for growth. We offer a space for improvement, friendship, and mastering techniques and strategies of effective communication and negotiation, with insightful workshops, warm tea, and cheerful smiles.
LNC has successfully operated since 2022. The Club is supported by Mercury Negotiation Academy in Greece and Lazarski Student Help Desk, fostering international cooperation and student involvement. In the past years, we have successfully held 2 tournaments with over 200 participants in total and participated in the final rounds of prestigious negotiation tournaments abroad. Our record includes participation in the international competition The Negotiation Challenge 2024, with our representatives landing in the Top-16 best negotiation teams in the world. From the beginning of its existence, the Club has opened its doors to students from many countries around the globe, including Poland, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Greece, Turkiye and more, providing unique opportunities for intercultural exchange and informal education.
Not only do we hold regular negotiation sessions during the academic year, but also organise workshops, and Negotiation Labs, with guests and speakers. The brightest event, our pride and glory is the Negotiation and Debate Tournament, usually held in cooperation with Lazasrki Debate Club. This is an academic competition made by students for students from Lazarski University and other universities located in Warsaw. The tournament fosters critical thinking, structured argumentation, and intellectual discourse among students. The Negotiation and Debate Tournament aims to involve students in University activities, develop their soft skills, and encourage participation in students' scientific clubs at Lazarski University, promoting social integration. The event is to define the Best Negotiator and the Best Debator, presenting the gems of the season, chosen by the honourable jurors and the audience preferences. This is a team-based competition filled with excitement, joyfulness and unforgettable experience.
