Architectural facilities:
Modern elevators;
The Library is located on the 1st floor in Sector F at Lazarski University. You can access it using three spacious elevators that have been designed for user comfort and accessibility. They feature time-delay systems of door movement, making it easier to get in and out, as well as advanced motion sensors for safety. Buttons in the elevators are large and easy to read, labeled in Braille for convenient use by people with visual impairments.


Wide and threshold-free entrance to the Library;
To the right by the door is a button to call a staff member who will open the door and provide other necessary assistance if needed.

A main service desk with an audio induction loop;
A main service desk with an audio induction loop for transmitting the voice of a staff member directly to the hearing aid of a hearing-impaired user. This equipment helps to understand speech.

A service desk with a lowered countertop;
A service desk with a lowered countertop for comfortable communication with people in wheelchairs.

Cabins for individual work;
Cabins for individual work, suitable for those in need of quiet and concentration (3 units soundproof, 3 units open).
Workstations with height adjustment;
Two workstations with automatic, motorized height adjustment of the worktable, allowing people in wheelchairs of various types, as well as those who prefer to work while standing, to study and work.
Library drop box;
Library drop box for contactless return of books, which is located at the entrance to the building in front of sector F, on level 0.
Accessible toilets.
Next to the Library there are toilets with facilities for wheelchair users.


Technical facilities and equipment:
Computers;
Computers HP All-in-One Touchscreen AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics: 2 pcs. Touchscreen monitors offer intuitive use of programs, eliminating the need for a mouse. This solution perfectly supports people with upper limb disabilities, allowing them to use the computer more easily and comfortably by touch. The computers also have NVDA (a free screen reader for Windows, designed for blind and visually impaired people) uploaded to them.

Computer mice;
Enlarged computer mice BigTrack: 2 pcs. Designed specifically for people with disabilities, the trackball has a number of features that make it a useful tool for people who cannot operate a regular mouse.
Keyboards;
ZoomText keyboards: 2 pcs. Two keyboards with enlarged keys and contrast lettering (1 piece with black lettering on yellow keys and 1 piece with white lettering on black keys).

Desktop magnifier;
ClearView+ Speech HD version (developer Optelec BV): 1 pcs. Desktop magnifier with built-in OCR text recognition and speech function.
Laptops;
Lenovo V155-15API laptops with preloaded Dolphin SuperNova software that magnifies the image on the monitor screen and reads text by voice: 2 pcs.
Headphones;
Kruger&Matz wired on-ear studio headphones: 5 pcs.
Induction loop;
Univox CLS-1 induction loop amplifier with microphone.

Reader Plus;
The device, which plays music, books and radio plays stored in mp3, DAISY and Reader formats, and thanks to Ivona's speech synthesizer, also reads text files.

E-book readers;
E-book readers with pre-loaded set of e-books for people with impaired vision. PocketBook TouchLux 3: 7 pcs. PocketBook TouchLux 4: 3 pcs..
Electronic magnifiers;
Candy 5 HD: 2 pcs. Zoomax Luna 6: 2 pcs..
Frames for signing;
Signature and banknote denomination identification frame for the blind and visually impaired people, 2 pcs.

Footstools;
Footstools with adjustable foot support for people with bad circulation and back problems: 7 pcs.
Library ladders.
Special sturdy two-step library ladders for convenient and safe reaching for books located on higher shelves: 3 pcs.
Other facilities:
You can freely enter the Library with a guide dog and an assistance dog;
We provide access to the resources of the Academic Digital Library, which are available in special formats adapted to the needs of people with disabilities;
Among other resources, we offer remote access to legal, economic, and medical databases containing scientific articles and full-text books in Polish and English;
We have the option to order audiobooks and DVD movies with extended subtitles from the Mokotów Library collection.
